Another (Bad) Knitting Riddle.
What do you call someone who keeps telling you her shawl is nearly finished, but never shows you any of it? A Clapo-tease. (Ba-dum-bum.)

Oh, the picture looks a little ripply because le Clap was sitting on my inflatable mattress, which had lost some air, hence the wavy background. Which is appropriate because "clapotis" apparently means something like "lapping" like waves lapping against the shore. Or some such; French is not my forte. I hope to join my friends at KG tomorrow night and maybe I can actually finish this darned thing! I mean, I love it and all, but I really need for it to be done for realio and trulio.

YUM. I don't know why I had a problem with the picture loading the first time, but it is so lovely. Ah, the Clap-o-tease. Ba dum dump! I hope you find it perfect for those not-quite-warm spring evenings in Chi-town - or say, Geneva:)
It would be more like Zurich, Lugano, and Interlaken... Geneva will have to wait until you and I take the Geneva/Montreux/Mont Blanc/Matterhorn/Ticino/Lago di Como trip in... what did we say? 2010? Something like that. And actually I may not bring le Clap, just because it's so BIG and I want to bring a minimum of stuff. We'll see, stay tuned!
Le Clap will actually have its first big outing in Hotlanta for IRA. You know how it goes - it's miserably hot outside, and therefore everyone cranks the air conditioning until it's 53 degrees inside and then they laugh at you when you're cold because it's 53 freaking degrees and you're in short sleeves. Or maybe that's just me. :-)
You NEVER post! What are you up to crazy girl? Was you Christmas fun?
I am so so so so tired right now. But I may have to gather some energy for some grown-up married-people activity. Whew!
